I will not saddle you with more bike puns, but for peace of mind i shall enter my inner (You) Tube, get it. So for all you purveyors of old psychedelia here is the Pink Floyd with "Bike".

And at the opposite end is this novelty song, The Push Bike Song by Mungo Jerry.

Well, it had to happen. I think i could reel off a whole load of bike songs.

Meanwhile, i have found a fellow geek at this work place , and all afternoon we have been talking about cosmology, quantum mechanics, singularities, black holes, branes, tachyons, and dark energy. We talked about baryons, fermions, leptons and quarks, Made the afternoon go quick.

If you have not heard of branes here is an exposition of brane cosmology at Wiki -

Off to watch The Flash on Sky 1 in a half an hour time.

Yesterday picked up some singles from a couple of chazzers in a pile of mostly eighties stuff and in The Mind chazzer which had a sudden influx of ten Phil Collins singles . Hidden gems indeed -

Australian Playboys - Black Sheep RIP (Immediate 1967) - a Garage / Psyche gem
The Sons Of Fred - Baby What Do You Want Me To Do? (Parlophone 1966) - ditto
The Tremeloes - Instant Whip (CBS 1969) - great funky B side

A quid each

Betty Davis - If I'm Lucky I May be Picked Up (Vampisoul) - reissue of funk classic from Miles Davis's old lady  for £2

plus this classic old school hip hop 12" for 50p

Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five - The Messsage / Step Off (Sugarhill 1984)

The track i tried to dance to at Nicole Gasson's 18th party.

Nice one!
